In pictures: Imperfect Chronology: Arab Art from the Modern to the Contemporary at the Whitechapel Gallery, London


Billed as “the broadest single overview of Arab art to be shown in the UK to date”, Imperfect Chronology: Arab Art from the Modern to the Contemporary opened at the Whitechapel Gallery in London on 8 September. Curated by Omar Kholeif, the show features works drawn solely from the Barjeel Foundation‘s art collection which is based in Sharjah, UAE.
